While a RB would be the logical selection, the Texans desperately need to infuse the defense with a young blue chipper. Walker and Payne will be free agents soon and behind them is nothing. A DT like Wilfork out of Miami would be good or maybe even a solid cover corner. Either way most of our top picks have been used on offense, which is okay, grab the playmakers while you're still drafting that high. But the only reason we were even somewhat respectable last year was because of our solid, healthy, veteran defense. Just look back at that Pittsburgh game for proof. Also if Boselli can't play and the experiment is over we will desperately need a LT. Back to the RB situation for a moment, the Texans are in contact with the Cardinals about trading for Thomas Jones. Now before you start griping about that if we can get him for say a fourth or fifth round choice it'd be worth it to see if a new environment coud turn him around. Personally I think Wells and Mack may fare better than we think behind a better O-line and a pretty good trio of recievers. Finally don't forget we have two second rounders next year along with our first rounder. We should have some flexibility if their is a player we really covet.
if we cant draft clarette next season... then Id go after R.Williams * if is there when we pick* or a impact Deffensive LB/ or CB we dont have much depth there
