dylan: The problem is that we tried that already and it failed. There used to be sweat shops and child labor and discrimination against women and minorities and sexual harassment. It took laws to regulate these behavors. I own a small business too and I know the problems. We wouldn't have to have these laws if business was given the opportunity to do the right thing and did it. Every day, chemical refineries pollute the air, mining companies strip the land bare and de-forestation occurs because of clear cutting. These are all bad for us and, really, a destructive element in society but business continues to do it because they can. There are literally hundreds of instances in the past 100 years of business running right over people for profit. People who stand up to corporations can't even do so without feeling afraid for their lives. If we had a business world that did the right thing all the time, these laws wouldn't need to exist. As it is, we don't have much choice. ------------------ Save Our Rockets and Comets SaveOurRockets.com

I can only speak for myself. I'm Chinese, and almost all my friends are white. I think interracial marriages/ gay marriages are much more accepted now then in the 60's. ------------------ "The road to hell is paved with Republicans."
