I'm worried the hitters have started pressing as they've gone from hitting well and being unlucky to hitting like ****.
I feel like if this team is going to get a jolt to jumpstart things then they will not have a better opportunity for doing that then this DF series. Offense has been scuffling but now will be playing in an insanely favorable run environment against a shitty team. This is a slump buster series and this team needs a slump buster worse than your recently divorced drinking buddy.
J.P. was a great story last year. Bad Sophomore season so far, hope he figures something out down in Sugar Land. Hunter Brown is likely on notice too, right?
Well. They need 5 starters and can possibly use 6. JV, and Framber are givens and Blanco has earned a spot. Javier and Urquidy are expected back sooner rather than later. Garcia should be back in another 3 months. McCullers COULD be back in 3-4. So Brown has to really start channeling his inner Ronel Blanco if he wants to stay in the Astros rotation the rest of the season.
Assuming Javier's neck "discomfort," isn't something even worse than they're letting on, it'll be nice to have JV, Framber, Javier, Blanco lined up and a find a fifth/sixth starter to carry us until reinforcements arrive. Gotta get to a hot streak here soon though!!
Hunter was great out of the pen in 2022. His playoff performance along with Garcia against the M's gave me chills. We could definitely use a middle inning guy when we get healthy.
different when teams haven't figured him out. He's figured out now. Not sure if he is MLB material yet.
MLB stuff for sure, needs to learn how to be an MLB pitcher. Same for France and Spencer and Javier and Whitley and....
Sure, whatever you say Insert: Bielak, Arrighetti, Coleman, Dubin, Kuehnel, Martinez, Mushinski, Scott Get some AAAA mojo, amigo!
If he can get a little bit extra velo like when McHugh moved to the bullpen, it may make a huge difference
