Thomas is night and day better than Mitchell and easily WR4 in this draft, don't like that for the Texans.
Night and Day? No sir. Thomas is a bit of a one trick pony who struggled vs more elite competition. Mitchell is just as fast. I think its closer than people think. Thomas does break tackles at a better rate.
The Dejean praise is overrated. He played against weaker receivers. And his games against better schools like Michigan and Wisconsin, he got roasted
Let's say we have two guys on our board with a round 1 grade but with no other distinguishable differences. There's no reason to trade our bargaining power away and move up unnecessarily when we have a safety net if one of those two guys goes off the board. Until that happens, we can wait and reap the reward of a much cheaper trade in the second round.
The only wrinkle of standing pat is we lose the 5th year control if one of our guys was there. Must like multiple guys but no clear cut target they want future control for.
