This is what happens when you have an entire group of pitchers on the IL and do nothing to address the actual problem. Brown and Crane knew we were potentially short two starting pitchers, and they instead guaranteed a top reliever five years. We needed depth with the remaining cap money, not a big name. Brown either does not know what he is doing, or he has no influence in the organization. We desperately need someone more than a lame duck serving as a real GM. Dana Brown isn't the answer to this point.
