1. They literally said EVERY YEAR they changed how the called games in the playoffs Here is some homework 2. Which of these players had their FT per game GO DOWN in the Playoffs versus UP? Which were allowed to be hacked more than the regular season? I'm curious As a Thought Experiment Imagine if they decided to call Carrying tighter and more often in the post season What is AI then? Rocket River
Jalen is going to have some Challenges. Wemby in San An Anthony in Minnesota Jocic ain't old Luka still here Williamson is still here Ja will be back I love how the Rockets are playing I love how Jalen is playing But I am concerned about our ability to get to the 3rd round in the next 4 years Rocket River
This was Harden: I just don't see Jalen ever reaching what Harden did offensively and how close he got us to the promised land. But I can be optimistic if we get the right pieces...
When are you guys going to understand that Jalen is a stat stuffer against shitty competition player.
Jalen has yet to surpass OKC 6MOY Harden, let alone come close to any version of Harden in Houston people like OP are on meth and crying out for attention
As well as Jalen is playing currently, he probably isn't better than Harden on current form!!! Harden is rolling into yet another year of playoff games. Jalen is on a heater and still missing the play-in. I hope Jalen does outperform peak Hou Harden (for Hou), but he is a long way shy of that currently....
I think there is a 0% chance Jalen will ever out perform peak Harden. Yall underestimate how good peak Harden was here. Consistently dragging lottery teams to 2nd seed in the west. Probably the greatest offensive player we've ever seen. People hate him cuz his game wasn't pretty but you can't argue with his impact on the court. If Jalen even becomes 75% of Harden I'll be pleasantly surprised.
so, at the same age Jalen is this season, Harden averaged 12,2 - 3,1 - 2,1. Jalen: 19,9 - 5,1 -3,5. Give the kid some time
Harden also played in the Playoffs at age 20, made the WCF when he was 21......Jalen does not even come close. Harden was in the Finals by age 22. Basically Harden was drafted at age 20, older than JG. That was more the practice that stacked teams only gave rookies and sophomores 18-25 minutes in the beginning. Jalen Green got 30-31 minutes as a rookie, much more what Harden got......and the Green light to shoot everything.
This thread marks the official point where the Jalen exuberance pendulum on here swung way too far and tempted fate way too much. He's 12 for 54 from 3 since this thread was created.
