Nuggets remind me of the 2011 Mavericks in that they are masters of closing games, especially on defense. It's like a gear shift in intensity. On offense, they go into machine mode with quick, crisp sets based off a two-man game of Jokic and Murray.

I watched a couple of their games against the Lakers this year and it's almost as if the ebb and flow of the first 3 quarters is completely irrelevant. Both teams knew what was going to happen in the 4th quarter and there was nothing that could change it.

That said, the Nuggets might miss Bruce Brown in the playoffs. He really went next level at important times for them.

Love this analysis, something you rarely see on any show or segment, even though Kenny loves to run to the board during half-time and point things out.

    Someone said
Did they have an easy path to a championship?

    1st Round: Young TWolves
    2nd Round: Disfunctional Phoenix
    3rd Round: Old Lakers
    Champion: Old Miami

Yes it could seem "easy" but no one could say anything to that cos 1. Nuggets never needed a game 7, it was never close. 2. if it's so easy, why didn't Celtics, 76ers, Bucks get out of the east to make it "harder"?

Besides, an "easy path" to the finals is the prize of being the 1 seed - you let #2&3 duke it out first. that's how it's supposed to work.

Again, not their fault all the "better teams" were upset. moreover, the nugs handled everybody -without a sweat-. 1x sweep, 2x gentle-sweep. What else must they do to be "impressive" in your eyes?

Play some actual competition? Whether or not it’s their fault, that championship was insanely weak

The question for me is . . . Should we have expected them to struggle a little more this year?
While missing key peices . . .. maybe they would still be down 0-2 with those peices

Or you could just say the did not encounter a matchup that was a problem for them.

For all the flowers the 90 era Bulls got, you knew there was 1 or 2 teams that could have beaten them......could have been the Rockets.....

    Had Jordan stopper in Vernon.

I think the Orlando Magic beat them too if I remember correctly.

Bulls had problems with dominating Centers.
