I am wiped out. I feel like I just watched a world series game. One of the ones in which we beat the Dodgers. In particular the one where Marwin Gonzales hit the 3 run home run to set the stage for us winning it all that year. So many twists and turns in this one. This team is giving me those type of vibes.
Yeah it’s not like they didn’t gift 45 free throws while UH didn’t even get half that. Over half UH’s fT’s were merely bc A&M had to foul for 2-3 minutes being down Dudes trying live in some alternate reality is pretty funny
Good call refs. There was definitely an A&M player with the ball in their hands with Mylyk. Oh wait it’s some ghost lol. In fact he was slapped in the back for a foul
I know it was lopsided. Like I said several times whether it’s intentional or not doesn’t matter. Reality says it was significantly called in one teams favor why didn’t it work? Bc UH overcame the bs and found a way to win.
I’ll say this…I don’t think for one second the refs were trying to fix the game. But I’ll also say if you were trying to do that and be sneaky about it, it wouldn’t look much different than what we saw tonite. That’s how bad they were.
They were bad, very bad, very very bad. Nobody is saying otherwise. It's a long walk from there to corrupt.
Before all the intentional fouls toward the end, A&M has nearly triple the free throws. Too bad for A&M, they couldn't capitalize and missed a bunch. Almost the entire UH starting lineup fouled out. Refs were only calling the ticky tacks foul one way for the majority of the game.
Again, my first sentence was I don’t believe for one second they were trying to fix the game. But regardless the practical outcome is the same, no matter their intentions, when the officiating is that awful.
refs were bad and generally favored aggy. things tend to even out but not in this one. ^ shead gets hacked with all officials having a clear shot of it but they simply chose swallow their whistle but on the other side of the court, shead fouls out with the softest of fouls.
Houston opens as -4 pts Friday vs Duke gametime @ 8:30pm btw the true freshman getting the hype Jared McCain was heavily recruited by UH. So they know exactly who he is.
