Thanks for the response. I wasn't weighing in on the Orioles though. I think both Astros and Orioles will be in the post season. It's going to come down to health.
Caratini Dubon ____________________ Kessinger (hamstring) Singleton Julks Salazar Loperfido Sounds like Kessinger* and Singleton will get the final spots. *Julks if Kessinger goes on the IL.
We also got demolished by Kansas City in 2015 due a future platinum glove winner letting the moment get to him.
I'm actually cool with the injuries for now... We can still field: Framber Valdez Cristian Javier Hunter Brown JP France Brandon Bielak With: Verlander Urquidy McCullers Garcia On the way over time to fill in. That would boost the rotation and the bullpen as the season goes on. Not many teams can field 2 decent rotations. Our current healthy arms did 127 of our 162 starts last year, so these aren't new faces here... Combined era of 4.15 with all the late struggles.
And the Orioles may have the best lineup in the AL for the regular season, time will tell But I'll damn sure take the Astros lineup in a playoff series over them or anyone. We are proven
The Astros super choked in the playoffs last year. Disgusting. There is something to prove after that.
FYI, league average for starting pitchers was 4.45 last year. So our rotation is slightly better than average while missing Verlander, Urquidy, Garcia, and Mccullers.
They asked Oliver where he kept the bodies and he said in his right elbow, and that's how they found out.
Hey, look guys - we don't have any injuries! New York Yankees Player Pos Status Date Lou Trivino P 60-day-dl (The New York Yankees placed RHP Lou Trivino on the 60-day injured list.) 2/16 Scott Effross P 60-day-dl (The New York Yankees placed RHP Scott Effross on the 60-day injured list with a back injury.) 2/14 Jasson Domínguez CF 60-day-dl (The New York Yankees placed OF Jasson Domínguez on the 60-day injured list.) 2/14 Houston Astros No Injuries
Yep! Spring Training is great for knee jerks. France pitched a good game with the exception of a few walks - really liked what I saw. Blanco was excellent albeit it his last 2 innings were against minor leaguers… but I’m high on both !
Blanco's changeup seems like something he may have worked on in the off-season as he has had a lot of success with it in ST so far. Threw it 19 times today with a 42 CSW% including five whiffs.
