If Harden was still on the Sixers, and then Embid goes down; I'd say he had some sort of voodoo curse on him. Many things can be true. He can be a quitter and a foul baiter and play an iso style of basketball that doesn't translate in the playoffs when teams can focus attention on him and his threes aren't falling. And he has choked in the playoffs. But his star teammates have not been there when it counted. Embid didn't show up against Boston after a monster game from Harden Irving was a no-show and he got injured during the playoffs Westbrook was a minus in the bubble tourney Chris Paul went down against a stacked GS team Dwight avg 16 pts as the no. 2 when he was here Were there any all-stars who paired with him when he first got to Houston? Chandler Parson? Harden isn't on the incandescent level like Kobe, Jordan or Lebron. But he changed the game almost as much as Curry did, with his stepbacks, 4 pts play, Euro Step and more.. he just didn't have 2-3 all-stars who impacted the game.
He changed asiansensation's life. He's spent at least mid series Harry Potter book worth of words writing about the man.
Eh, his time clearly wasn’t worth anything before his James Harden obsession, but it makes you wonder when he’ll stop with the act and go to a meet and greet with James.
if Harden wins a ring with the Clippers, it could be argued very easily that he was the best of the OG OKC Big 3. KD might end up with more rings but Harden makes more teams better. Like imagine replacing Harden for KD on those GOAT GSW teams. They might have even been better. I just wish Harden would have taken over in the playoffs when we really needed him to
Hey, hope you finally get a ring so you can be 1/4 the man I am today, good luck! ...wait, wait, wait, don't be mad, I meant that as a compliment, I think you guys can win it all, love you man *snickers *...
i wish people would stop talking about "style" doesn't translate in the playoffs. styles don't win, talent does. the rockets didn't win because James was surrounded by role players against teams with 3 or 4 stars. so yes it's easier to load up on him and wear him out when you know the others can't beat you. as if the "style" wouldn't win if you added klay and KD. as if the style didn't have a 3-2 lead on a 73 win team before the only other star on the team was injured. as if the style wasn't about to bulldoze the league in Brooklyn if James and kyrie didn't get injured. people just hate James and easily influenced by media is why this will forever be ignored, unless he gets a ring. they might still hate on him though...
Bingo! Spot On. Seriously even if you say the 27 missed 3 was legit (it wasn;t they were getting hacked to hell) G.S. Still only won that game by like 6 Rocket River
Never thought I’d see the day James Edward harden would lose to a team with European offensive big as their starter. This guy was known for years for torching the nurkics, kanters, Sabonis, benders, poetls of the world and not only lose but get blown out at home on a nationally televised game wow must be the 4 games in 5 nights
