Terry is the worst coaching hire by Texas across all sports in the 21st century. A shocking thing for me to say because watching that Barnum actor Shaka coach here for seven years was the ultimate slog. Still, Terry is even worse -- no identity and no toughness.
After their 2 5* kids went to the G-league, there was no BIG hope for this team. They are who they are. Next season will be a massive rebuilding year, "entire roster" type of rebuilding. I think all the rotation players are gone, and the freshmen never came. Maybe the coach goes too? Good god that sh!tbag from Tech screwed his family, his life, and this program over so, so much. eta: and I'm totally shocked to learn that Ol' Miss (a school with ideals, and flags to prove it) hired him this year. I didn't know that until tonight, and I didn't know I could hate that school more than I did.
Yeah, whatever. If you want to be like Tortilla Tossers, Sooners and Aggies, then go for it. We'll get a whole bunch of that from the eastern inbreds real soon. Don't like it? Don't lose.
It's real hard to overcome a lack of talent (especially in a league like the Big XII). But some of our fans put so much high expectations on this team every year, so idk. They're gonna have to find a way to dig out of this fast, or it's gonna get even uglier.
I get that it gets nowhere near the attention of other sports, but college basketball is just unreal great
KS shout outs weaver after the game this past Monday. Weaver get inserted in the starting lineup the very next game
