Happy for Ramos. Fulfils a promise, also declines the dirty Saudi money. That's the right move for him. Not sure if Guilavogui is any better than our youth players.
The most inexplicable move was to loan Stanisic to the strongest competitor in the league, at a time when it already looked likely for Pavard to leave lol.
Well we loaned out two youth central defenders (Morrison+Janitzek) and sold one (Tikvic), now the only one left with somewhat pro quality is Buchmann, who's a walking injury and currently injured. So it's not the best situation.
Hope Flick gets sacked this week, the final Löw years and him completely destroyed this team. Guy is lamenting about talent and having to find a proper balance, but rolled out 24 different defensive lineups in 26 Games, he's a total clown with no clue. Also shout-out to Havertz, who publicly blamed the "lack of fan support" for the bad world cup performances. Meanwhile, our basketball team is in the world cup final, with the games not even being on free-tv. Absolutely embarrassing all around, trash coach and entitled players.
I hink he's still under chemo for prostate cancer? I wanted Kuntz two years ago and it seems like he'a close to being sacked by Turkey, he did incredibly well for our youth teams and knows a lot of the guys. It's a shame that they didn't sack Flick immediately after the world cup, now the 2024 Euro is less than a year away and you can't experiment too much.
Finally. Months overdue. Flick was the first German men's national coach in history to be fired. All his predecessor resigned on their terms. Just another hint of how delusional he became. Glad he's gone. Good day for German sports.
I want van Gaal, if only for the lulz. At least, he wouldn't put up with some of the crap from the Ruedigers of the world.
Don't think this will really help us, half of the German core is exactly the guys that did absolutely terrible at Bayern under him, and he made that team worse than it was under Flick. He also didn't seem to realize the weaknesses of the Kimmich-Goretzka midfield and the need for stability. In general don't think he has the qualities we need, national team coaching is more about being a great motivator and stabilizing the team quickly, as you don't have a lot of practices that let you develop the team tactically in-depth. Also a lot of managing egos and bringing the guys together. Would've much preferred van Gaal.
