Curry has more mvps and more rings. That kinda trumps all the blocks and rebs Harden has amassed during the regular season. Curry is the best shooter in history while Harden isnt the best scorer in NBA history. He is also a better team player than Harden, Curry has played with multiple stars for pretty much his entire career never really had an issue sharing the ball with others even with 4 all stars on the squad somehow there's enough shots for everyone. Harden has had utilization issues with Dwight and Cp3 even if there's only 2 of them on the team. Curry is also the better franchise player, he is the poster boy for the NBA and never got involved in any drama or controversy. He stayed loyal to GSW even when everybody said GSW window was closed and didnt put pressure on management to make win now decisions that will have bad repercussions later on. Everybody wants to play with Curry cuz he can play off the ball, oth lots of other stars have already rejected playing with Harden including Jimmy B and Giannis who drafted Kemba Walker over him in the all star draft. We all know how Harden left Houston lets not go over how he screwed over the team. In terms of longevity Curry is still maintaining his MVP frontrunner status while Harden fell off in recent years. Last year Curry was still a contender for mvp before his team failed to make the playins while Harden had 0 chance to win mvp. This year is the same, Curry 1st in mvp list and Harden is 6th. That ship has sailed. Curry is better than Harden just ask any objective, non Harden only fan.
Curry for the majority of his career has always had a better team around him, stop dick riding. Harden signed an extension when Durant signed with the Warriors. Made us relevant for 8 years. What a sloppy argument. Terrible
the warriors owner pay the super tax every year curry was there... their is a realgm poster who was banned over there because his legacy rankings had curry in the late 20's all time but he had cp3 and harden ranked above curry all-time( which i agreed with). Curry has had a lot of injury prone seasons. Does curry even have 20k points yet. Curry has a lot of fans that overrate him, but when you look at his career achievements, harden has had more mvp level seasons than steph. Harden and CP3 won 65 games together as teammates, so this portability rating( which im guessing you got from ben taylor doesnt hold weight). Harden was portable with the nets last year too, so much so that the league had to adjust how they call fouls since the merger just to prevent the nets from winning 70 games
they choose ignore the seasons where harden had he been lightskin would have won 2 more mvp's and def would have made all-nba last year and all-nba in 2016. Curry has been able to catch up in accolades because harden been robbed of so many honors, from player of the week awards where he averaged 40 and lost out to carmelo anthony in portland, to player of the month awards where their was no other player in the league near him and he still didnt win. I go to basketball reference to get my info, their is a saying.. men lie, women lie, numbers dont lie. And the warriors have the highest payroll in the league this season AGAIN Harden whether he wins a ring or not, will be looked at more favorably and many will rank him higher especially if harden finishes his career number 2 all-time in 3 pointers made. Kids will be saying in 25 years that harden was so dominant offensively that the league had to change the rules to nerf him, and thats how the era of 30 point scorers went away
Garrison is the JJ Redick of Klay Thompsons Garrison JJ Thompson Or maybe the Corey Brewer of Klay Thompsons? The good Corey Brewer, Game 6 Brewer, not 2nd year Brewer
The obvious is that we are 2 months into a season and they are both rookies and JC has been in the one center offense longer than Green already. Always be careful of judging rookies too early. Stephon Marbury averaged 15 ppg on 40% fg and 35% from 3 his rookie year. Steve nash averaged 3.3 points his rookie year and didnt crack 10 points till his 4th or 5th year. Only one of these guys has 2 MVP trophies at home. Its way too early to tell what either is gonna end of being.
Not only a BFF but a highly inefficient BFF that cant shoot and doesnt fit MDA's system at all lol MDA trying to compliment Westbrook's game looked like an old man being forced to eat a **** sandwich and say that he likes it.
that's a great pic! the real rocket versus the fake one. The one who does all the dirty work and is a team player, versus the selfish one who gets all the stats.
Lmao, Harden doesn't have MVP's because the league is racist has to be the dumbest take I've ever heard on clutchfans. Did you know that, after adjusting for average performance, dark skin players have higher jersey sales than light skin players? It's mathematically true that dark skin players are more popular than light skin players. If you're actually a numbers person, you'd stop lying to yourself, or at least do some basic research on how jersey sales (and MVPs) are related. Numbers lie all the time, especially when stupid, biased fans take them out of context.
Not even going to bother with this entire argument but the bolded part isn’t even accurate. Prior to getting hurt at the end of March/beginning of April last year Harden was 2nd on basketball references MVP tracker. And was the 2nd best odds in Vegas to win in at +700. He was absolutely carrying the Nets when Irving and Durant were in and out all year. The talk in the media was “can anyone really give MVP votes to Harden after what he did in Houston….even though he deserves it” It’s like some people don’t even want to remember reality. Embiid, Lebron and Harden were THE top 3 until they all got hurt. It was then when Jokic took a stronghold and Curry swooped into the top 5.
I know we should trade him, but I really want to see him retires as a Rocket. He’s an ultimate team player.
