I'm cool with either one. I keep floating between Green and Suggs. If we get Mobley then our 23 and 24 picks have to be a sg.
Green beats players on raw athleticism alone -- major red flag in scouting. As he ages, this will fade... and as he goes up against other supremely talented and athletic players, then he won't have his edge. His shooting form is fundamentally poor. We need skilled ball handlers, shooters, passers, and leaders. Suggs is the best option.
I mean just watch full game tape, he’s clearly our guy. Has all the tools to be the next great SG in this league.
Mobley is Anthony Davis with a worse shot but better playmaking. I think he's the obvious pick. Green's handles are not great. Most athletic player no doubt but he's an off the ball player primarily. We should do better with a 2nf overrall pick.
I really don't want Suggs. He will be a solid player, but I feel like like his ceiling is low. I'm not too excited about Mobley either. I do like Green though. If Rockets knew Green was to slip, I'd like to see a trade down and a pick, similar to Luka. Lots of options. Would anyone do the 23rd, 24th and the 2nd for #1?
AGREED!!! Why do people want twin towers in today NBA?? As for Green vs Suggs, Green way bigger upside!
Green being in Gleague hurted him od for lot of viewers, If he was in NCAA, he would be in convo for first pick.
I'm way out of the loop so this may be a silly question, but is there any world where Detroit doesn't take Cade?
