From ESPN! Curry became the first player since Kobe Bryant to score at least 30 points in 10 straight games, https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...curry-goes-cold-30-point-streak-ends-11-games Didn't Harden do like 32 in a row? DD
https://www.nba.com/news/harden-30-point-streak-ends Not what he said in the article though....I tweeted to him the correction! DD
Let's face it, Harden could easily go through a whole season without scoring less than 30 if he were more selfish. If he had Kyrie's mentality, he would average 40 a game.
That seems like an intentional slight. Either that or the article writer is a lazy jackass with minimal ability to fact-check.
Harden averaged 44 ppg for an entire month and averaged 38.2 ppg for the entire year of 2019 When Steph does that, call me.
iirc during the first Curry frenzy in his first MVP there was half of forum that argued that Curry was clearly better than Harden.
Don't seem so surprised. Of course someone from the Yay area would write a historical revisionist, Curry puff piece when it involves doesn't involve Harden.
media said Harden was playing basketball the wrong way and going on and on about how u can’t win with him playing that way, but they ride Steph for his scoring
You look at today's Rockets and it's like Harden complimentary pieces sought after in years past. Olynk, KPJ jr, a younger reiteration of himself possibly and Wood. Harden could make this train run if he was still in Houston. All can shoot 3s to help Harden catch rhythm to score 40 for 40 straight games possibly?
This is that classic victim mentality again.... in the latter weeks of the streak they were talking about it every day. I remember that it was extra funny because it was obvious that they all hated Harden but had no choice to praise him for that historical feat. Every time I'd go to the gym in that period all the TVs showing ESPN would be talking about Harden. The lack of mention of it now, however is BS. Edit: It's funny cause all the comments on the IG post are calling the guy out for just that. Victim complex lol.
Even so, why come up with an arbitrary cutoff point like that unless you're purposely trying to make sure you don't have to include Harden in the discussion?
Lol, I love Harden and always will but he's gone now and it's time to let it go and focus on our current roster.
