Oh no. This would be viewed as good news for the Fertittas. Guaranteed they never wanted it long term as an apartment complex. It's a prime location and this storm just gave them the perfect excuse to cancel leases and get all of the tenants out without a fight so that the site can be redeveloped.
Didn't know Fertitta was a slum lord too. He is probably happy to kick those people out and build something fancy there.
Juat googled it. It is almost next door to the San Luis, which he also owns and is within walking distance of Pleasure Pier, which he owns. Tilman is thrilled. Wrecking ball inbound as we speak.
He's doing them a favor by kicking 'em out. That allows them to get a good spot on waiting lists for other crap apartments.
Ahh I guess it's crap on Fertitta hour again. Cool. What does his real estate holdings have to do with the Rockets?
