Oh too bad, there's some great prospects in the 20s. Maybe the Rockets can combine their three picks in the 20s for a pick in the early teens! Welcome Kispert!
Uh..........this team gonna be a late bloomer. Somewhere along the way we gonna realize we got a bunch of picks in the twenties that will be lucky to become rotation pieces. Maybe I have rose colored glasses. Can someone remind me if we ever had as bleak a time as a Rockets fan as now since the 90s? I’m sure there must have been a time when.....
from my standpoint, looking at those miniscule odds, it is very likely rigged so then my question still stands, why would silver send/waste a top league prospect and possible franchise player to one of the very worst run franchises in all of pro sports?
I don't remember one. And we have a GM who was gifted the job without a search and an owner who is impatient. I expect the Rockets to try to compete for a playoff spot in some way next year.
Agreed that is ridiculous. Changes my perspective completely. Never thought they were going to get anything of consequence and thought the trade would be a decent gamble that Butler would get hurt. Think it would have been a better gamble to let him play out the season and see if he balled out. If he did we could do a sign and trade for something a little better.
That was probably a decision by Houston because TF did not want to pay too much for a rookie contract.
It is wild how fast the Rockets turned into one of the worst organizations in the league. Absolutely wild.
This was expected. If Dipo can't land us a 1st anywhere in the league, why would we expect Miami to give up a potential swap netting us into the lottery?
