im talking about the team rankings...or are those updated too and account for only players on the roster?
As long as went don't draft 6'8 PF we'll be fine. Stone, I feel will be better than Morey in that department of talent judging. Morey got people he thought would fit what he wanted to play and never really addressed the teams glaring needs.
We would have had to trade Harden earlier because he would have thrown a **** fit with Paul staying on the team. Although...we never would have had to leverage our future for one year of Westbrook...So we could have had a huge haul for Harden and come out with a net positive of assets...
I don’t know when Morey drafted Patrick Patterson, Carl Landry, Marcus Morris...he was doing a pretty damn good job...
Patterson was the best out of the bunch. MM was not the same player here that he is now. A wasted pick because he didn't produce for us. Was traded for a second round pick that later became Isaiah Canaan. Definitely went backwards there. Are we even going to bring up Mr. "#BeWell" lol Landry was cheap for Les. Dorsey was chosen as the 33rd overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. After the draft, he was traded to the Houston Rockets in exchange for the draft rights to the 25th pick, Nicolas Batum. It's not all rosy like you trying to make it out to be. How quickly they forget. smh
Don't give a **** about the likes. Just see a team on a path that has a good future ahead of them. Just had to get rid of the one obstacle who didn't want to be here.
Players who connect with the offense that Silas is generating. Finally seeing some players who can place some great defense besides Tucker....and on top of that, undrafted rookies - kudos to Stone. And players that enjoy wanting to be here.
It is funny, this is the natural way of the NBA. Management just refused to go the mainstream way for a long time.
I nearly lost my mind when Rockets traded away Batum. He was my pet pick that draft. Thanks for the PTSD.
He's been on here since 2002. We didn't get the new 'likes' addition to clutchfans until like 2014 or later. Most of his posts are pre-likes. So... to go with a theme I found within this thread: relax.
I can imagine Wall, Wood, Cousins, Gordon, Oladipo all score 15pts+ every game. Breaking the mold of superstar driven team into winning by committee like the 2004 Pistons. We might not have a Superstar, but we do have loads of borderline all-stars playing team ball.
That is 100% not what your original post says. Even when reading between the lines. Glad you cleared it up though.
Starting 5: • Wall • Oladipo • Tate • PJ • Wood Bench Mob: • Jones • Brown • Gordon • Nwaba • Cousins • McLemore Injury reserves: • House • KJ • Kurucs• Exum • Thomas • Porter Jr. This team is so stacked from top to bottom. We have a great mixture of vets and rookies. Team is looking like they are about to start clicking and the whole roster isn’t even fully healthy yet. I’m definitely excited for this team moving forward. All we need is a starting 5 man that can rebound and pound inside with other bigs. Zubac, McGee, Bayne, Robin Lopez, Looney are a few guys that either don’t start but definitely can or aren’t being used properly in their current teams. I really hope PJ signs that extension bc he looks like a great leader in the locker room and is something this team definitely needs especially on the defensive end.
Another beautiful game and indeed these young guys work hard no matter what. Love the confidence! My favourite team since 2013 with AB, Garcia and Delfino!
