Sorry, didn’t get that you wanted to go off topic, this thread was about streaming options. If you are happy with price point and services with DTV, then no worries. I save money with you tube tv and my streaming service versus my previous cable package and prefer the experience. User mileage will vary depending on your particular needs/preferences.
If you can wait about a month, Google will be coming out with their new Android tv dongle codenamed Sabrina. Should be similar to Apple TV with a remote. Pricing rumored from 49 to 59. https://9to5google.com/2020/08/31/google-sabrina-android-tv-price/
I prefer Roku myself, but Nice! You can cast to it too, right? I just had a chromecast bite the dust and was about to order a couple more. I'll hold off.
HBO Max is not. Fortunately I had a very old Chromecast laying around that still works just fine so that's what I use for Max. Not sure about Peacock network, but I bet it's there. AFAIK, the only major missing app is HBO Max.
What's the best site to read up on all these things, I a little but it seems these dongles are doing much more than when I was keeping up.
No particular order... Engadget Verge 9to5Google 9to5Mac Androidpolice Would be great for the consumer, but very unlikely. https://www.theverge.com/2020/9/9/2...ability-initiative-alexa-apple-google-samsung
What I posted about earlier... Chromecast with Google TV and remote pics. Just translate from German with your browser https://winfuture.de/news,118341.html A pretty big upgrade from the standard chromecast and at a more than decent price.
