This is a good thing. Rockets don't play well with expectations anyway. Rockets will just have to show they are a championship level team, simple. Rockets defense is ass though, Russ gets lost a lot. Rebounding is still trash.
That's absurd. We have a pretty damn good shot at winning it all if we can stay healthy....just need to add a long swingman (3/4/5).
I don’t trust our defense, rebounding, or clutch time decision making...we also need some help at the 3 and 4
Jazz over the Rockets is just silly. A starting guard tandem at 6'1" and 6'3" can't defend well enough, and Gobert can only do so much. Getting to the second round is their ceiling.
Certain things the media does, hating on our style of play, false Harden narratives, etc.... it's okay to get a little butthurt. Stuff like this. No beef with it. Logical, safe conclusion based on historical evidence.
I would definitely rather take less spotlight off than all the drama we’ve had in the last couple of days. As a team, I’d rather be the dark horse that comes through at the end than some favorite who everyone is gunning for.
Why do these professional sports analysts keep putting the Jazz in front of Rockets? They all seem to coincidently forget the fact that Rockets kicked their asses twice in the last two playoffs. Clippers will be good for sure... half of their main guys are former rockets. Lakers... i get it... the media loves to suck on Lebron's **** and its obvious.
The warriors are definitely contenders I don’t care what anyone says. How can a team have a superstar and three all stars and not be a contender ? It doesn’t make sense. The rockets have a lot to prove. Even with size issue, I think this is largely about Westbrook. If he is the same guy as last year, then I agree rockers are not real contenders.
Aside from having the Blazers up there, everything he said was reasonable. This will be a below average defensive team relying on Westbrook to hit open shots. There shouldn’t be any confidence that the Rockets will be a contender.
Nuggets are deep AF. They are contenders though they are missing an A1 superstar. If they luck up with the right matchups they can have a chance.
Exactly, even in their current state without Klay I’d still put them higher than the Nuggets, Blazers and Jazz when it comes to contending.
Right now, there’s not a single team I’d say is a contender. It really is dependant upon health, how the stars will mesh and match-ups. It will take weeks if not months before we can say anything. I am not hopeful of our chances yet, given our play style, age, discipline on defense.
