Yup! That was part of my thinking. Ibaka is regressing, but it would be fun if the price was right. And we desperately need PFs.
Toronto is definitely an interesting trade partner at this point, kinda sucks i don't think we have the assets left to try to trade for Siakam (assuming they're open to move him) though, i think those 2024/2016 picks would've been really interesting for Toronto, 2019/2022 not so much.
They don't have a 2023 swap from us. We have that pick entirely. It was 21 & 25 pick swaps (which are still tradeable), and 24 & 26 outright traded.
I think the Rockets still need a wing to guard the likes of Lebron and Kawhi. Someone like Igoudala would be perfect. They also could use a center or a player who can play both the 4 and the 5 preferably as well.
We trade for a 3&D wing or a real PF who has a 3 point shot. It's kinda amazing it only took 2 picks to get Westbrook. Well, him wanting to re-unite with Harden helped us significantly.
I really hope they have a deal lined up for/with Iguodala... Getting a defensive-minded wing who can shoot now becomes crucial. We match up well against the Lakers, but terribly against the Clippers. I'm still in disbelief. Ugh, what a terrible trade.
Yep only 2 picks total to get RW and get rid of CP3 Its like we got rid of cp3 for 1 pick and got RW for another
Sign Tyson Chandler and J Holiday to vet min Sign and trade shump plus a first and second for Covington Sign Iggy after a buyout Keep an eye on the Jaylen Brown situation
Nope, you’re just reading Twitter postings like the rest of us...... I wish everyone would at least post the Twitter link. Just a random post floating around.
Westbrook is not an efficient scorer from the outside so the next thing that needs to happen is for Harden to learn to play off ball. Westbrook needs the ball in his hands to be a threat and D’Antoni needs to adjust the offense to accommodate this. Think what Golden State does for Clay Thompson to get him open and put him in position to score. I get that Harden is an elite scorer and can pretty much take anyone in the league one-on-one but why not run more action / sets to get him easier looks? To me it is a win-win. Harden gets his numbers with less overall usage and wear-and-tear on his body.
I see... If they have 24 and 26 I don’t think we can trade 25 then even though it’s a swap. If we trade the 21 swap then we can’t trade the 20 or 22 1st as well. Essentially from a what’s left perspective we have Shumps contract, 20 & 22 1sts.
