I'm not sure its subtle at all in Hollics case. It's just spread games with him. A broken clock is right twice a day, and he knows that. He just wants to be right enough to say "I was right about X trade" so he can be at his perceived "cool kids table" with the other folks here like Cyberx that are valued and treated as such. With sports and politics its all the same.... grievance from wanting to be accepted & applauded. Attention seeking narcissism. Plow at least knows the audience and trying to throw in some entertainment factor. 80's goth pop references never hurt. I don't find that Plow takes himself as seriously, and its all in good fun. I don't mind that at all. The aggrieved narcissistic approach I do mind.
Eeerrr.... Once upon a time a point god named Chris Paul thought he would win with the Clippers and Blake and DAJordan. A certain Stoudamire and Carmelo thought that in New York.
Yea, was watching it last night and had to rewind it to hear exactly what he said. It was more like a whisper, like it was taboo.
