It's a prediction thread asking what you envision happening given the awkwardness from both sides. Most other Ryno threads seem to be all about hating on him and talking about his contract. Tried to do something different given it's a serious question going into next year.
if the Rockets are getting a need filled with another player for Ryno then trade him. If not then might as well have him on the roster to use during the season. He will get hot and still win several games for them. It's not my $20 million so I would rather him be there than just dumped. Next year his contract becomes more of a positive.
This is pretty much what I think. My guess is he’s traded very soon and I believe it’s best for all involved. Real question is, who are all of you guys going to pile on next? Who will be Clutchfans whipping boy after Anderson is gone?
I'm not sure, but we can count on at least one guy, perhaps more, being put in stocks at the town square, a target of constant ridicule. Melo's an obvious candidate, of course, and if he plays well (we hope, if we get him), someone will still complain that he should be playing better. If we're lucky (unlikely!) he'll play so well that he'll become (figuratively speaking, of course) an object of reverence who can do no wrong, at least for some. It's inevitable.
This isn't a Kawhi situation here. Sure, Ryno's name has been a common topic in trade conversations, but so long as you are not a superstar that's the name of the game in the NBA. If he isn't traded I expect him to be a professional and suit up and do his best to help our chances to win.
that's Harsh, ryno was decent in most in most match-ups other than Warriors. Is he worth the contract? No. Is he useless? No.
That's not true at all. Hes sucked ass a whole in the playoffs. He had 2 good games against the Spurs and then sucked against all other 5 teams we've played in the playoffs the last couple of years.
Ryan Anderson has no interests in basketball now. I did not hear any word on Ryan Anderson trying to practice basketball.
to be fair he didn't even play any meaningful minutes this playoffs, so he really only sucked against OKC.
At this point I’m sure Ryan’s agent is begging Morey to trade him. Ryan might get booed every time he misses a shot at home
Has NO future with the Rockets. He can do 1 thing and shoot and he is afraid to. Confidence is shot. His only value is being a good teammate. He can be a good teammate in Sacramento.
