Rockets have embarrassed the Warriors' so called 'Hampton 5' line up. In fact, it is the worst 5-man line up against the Rockets through 2 games, with a plus/minus of -8.0! https://on.nba.com/2k3Uaht
The Rockets played great! As a Warriors fan, this is what I expected and I was more surprised by Game 1 than Game 2. As a team, the Rockets are more than the sum of their parts because they work so well together. Morey has done a fantastic job of getting complimentary pieces. I think the Rockets have dispelled the notion that Durant "broke" the NBA by going to the Warriors. Without Durant, the Warriors would likely be crushed in 4 or 5 games. With him, they have a chance. Every year, teams are constantly trying to improve. Houston has done a terrific job and, while I will be sad if my team loses the series, at least they will have lost to the best team in the NBA!
With Durant, they not only have a chance, but they are favorites as well. I hope Rockets can continue defending Thompson and Curry well. As long as those two don't go off, we have a chance to win the game. It's tough to guard them though with how much they move.
Thx for looking that up @Shaq2Yao (btw: when are you going to choose an avatar? or do news bots like J.R. not have code to do so) Here's the advanced data for Total minutes. I only include lineups that were used in both games. NetRtg of -15 playing nearly 45% of the games
we have our own death lineup, CP3, Harden, Ariza, PJ and EG, which is more than enough to battle their so called Hampton 5 lineup, the key here we need Clint, Luc, Green all the other guys to contribute more! we not still the underdog, until we beat them 4 times, there is nothing to brag about
My advanced data is telling me Kevon Looney is going to make a sh** ton of money this offseason. Btw @Shaq2Yao , wrong avatar.
