I know there has been talk of this in the Yankees series thread, but not sure if this has been posted. I feel like this deserves its own thread. If there is one, please lock.
It has led to more accusations.... We really have become the gsw of baseball. We are now hated. We finally made it.
Its funny. Its envious starter on starter crime. If we have any proof of not cheating, we should just point to our bullpen. LOL. Wheres the increased spin rate for the pen bauer? Also, I dont know how spin rate helped with the historically good offense we put out last year.
This is the dumbest thing I have seen on the pro level. Bauer should be ashamed of himself. I am not saying the Astros are not cheating but it seems more likely that you have some of the most talented pitchers in baseball putting it together with great coaching, film, shifts, etc. Cole has always had unbelievable talent and so has Morton. I am sure they have gone through great stretches in the past too (maybe not this prolonged). Then you have Verlander who is a hall of famer who can teach all of these guys along with Brent Strom on how to be more effective. These dudes are humming fast balls at 96+ mph in the 6th inning on onwards so how is he explaining that? Does pine tar help you throw faster? I am really wondering. Maybe it does but it seems it would just help with breaking pitches or maybe I am mistaken.
Yankees fans are having a field day with this in their forum. They have several pages of salt claiming Astros are cheating.
Indians coming to Houston in a few weeks. Should be fun. Hope we get to face Bauer and beat the snot out of him.
I really hate visiting other teams fans forums. They always seem to be poorly laid out and hurt my eyes.
Golden State Warriors forum... For a high tech city one would think they wouldn't use that format. The site even has a weak explanation for it in the about section.
You know you have a dominant organization when other players and fans try to explain away your success as witchcraft or cheating. I am sorry that Trevor Bauer has been a huge underachiever so far, but he doesn’t need to question other people’s success to make himself not feel like a failure.
Damn, never knew Cleveland pitchers could be so f'n petty. With that being said @Rook should trade Trevor to me in our FBBL.
