Not a day went by that I didn't think of the brehs and especially @LCAhmed bae. My body is ready. PS: FTW breh is banned, you can take him off the list.
before we start, let's make this thread a discussion on rules, perimeters, etc. just to avoid future clashes of titans
The franchise thing sounds good, but wouldn't some brehs automatically have better teams? But maybe it'd work with restrictions, for example a limited number of all-star appearances, awards etc
but wouldn't it be kinda hard to police these, as you'd have to really pay attention to other's rosters. i was thinking have the first five rounds be for specific positions (i.e. 1st pg, 2nd sg...) that way the last person who got to pick pg gets first pick of sg... and so on and so forth. just throwing out ideas.
The franchise thing sounds very cool, unfortunately some teams (Lakers,Celtics) would be stacked where others (like the Bobcats) would be trash. If we could find a way to make it work I'd be down though. Maybe we could seperate the better franchises (e.g. pre 1980s and post 1980s Lakers)?
I mean, there are 28+ franchises, only about 10-16 brehs who draft. I think we'll be able to find a way to make things work (obviously don't pick the bobcats unless you want Gerald Wallace to be your cornerstone piece). We could probably limit it to something along the lines no restrictions on first 3 picks, after that you cannot pick anyone with more than x amount of all-stars, awards, etc. Idk just thinking out loud.
I'm interested it's been a while Also shout out to @Mathrocker maybe something you'd be interested in trying
Like the idea of franchise but not sure how it would pan out. Definetly down for something different though.
What if we made a predetermined list of teams and if you are in that draft spot you have to take a player that played for that team?
Just a side interest in future stars, rookies, sophs, even College players. I dun know many but I am willing to sort of research. Not exclusively just get all kind of players in. You carry on with the mainstream ideas anyhow!
Don't think anyone here knows that many ncaa brehs. Regarding future, I always liked to imagine how youngish players would fare under a team. For example if you have a current rookie/soph paired up with Bron or other great vets on the team, he'd play vastly different and more mature than on his real team. This should definitely play into one's judging.
