Ha, there is a definite similarity there. Thx @VooDooPope I've included a blown up version of Pope Alexander VI in honor of your avatar.
A couple new pieces I've made. They're both for my book, 'The Pod'. The first is an oracle type character that reads fortunes out of an abalone shell, her name is Dear Otter. The second is the first meeting of all the whale characters meeting for the first time. I tried to make them roughly to scale. Clockwise: Minke, Humpback, Bottlenose, Pseudorca, Orca, Blue, Sei, Pilot, Gray, Bryde, Right, Bowhead, Sperm, Lady Fin, Strap Toothed, Melon Headed, Pygmy Right, Beluga, Beaked (Cuvier's Beaked) and Narwhal in the middle. He's the main character and invites them all to this meeting.
"The Conclusion of Moby Dick" by Andy Graham (if you're curious to know more about Moby Dick, why I made it or about the piece itself, check out my blog at thepodthebook.com)
If you're curious about why there's instrument in a whirlpool, you can read more about it at thepodthebook.com
Your style is more illustration than art and I don't mean that as a negative thing. Keep it up and try to get illustration work as opposed to selling individual pieces.
My latest artwork was drawing a bunch of dicks on cars. Luckily they're putting it all on this idiot.
