I feel like neither guy is a hall of famer. If it took adrian dantley so long to get dont see how these guys get it so quick. If bill fitch is not in dont see how these guys get in. If larry nance, tom chambers, ricky pierce, eddie johnson, lewis lloyd, dale ellis, walter davis, rudy tomjanovich, rolando blackman. terry porter, dan roundfield are not in it than these guys should not be in it.
GTFO. It's a basketball hall of fame and they are famous for playing basketball. Find me one kid who ever wore a Ricky Pierce jersey. No one ever put a game on international television because Dale Ellis was playing in it.
Yao Ming is international basketball hall of fame, NOT NBA hall of fame. He deserved it because of what he did for China, and all the international he did for basketball.
Sweet Jebus. There is no Nba hall of fame. It's a basketball hall of fame. So yes Yao for sure deserves it next to the globetrotter, dick vitale and countless refs. He would not deserve to be in a NBA specific hall of fame. But A NBA specific hall of fame doesn't exist. Tmac deserves to be in. I don't care what anyone says. He was dominant for long enough despite lack of postseason success.
I'm so confused by you. You seem like you could be old because you constantly praise older players, but all of your posts read like you're a petty 14 year old boy.
yao and McGrady would own every single one of them as much as you want to deny it, today's athletes are way better than yesterday as athletes. Of course there were some freaks back then like wilt Chamberlain Who could also dominate today's game as well but the fact is they also dominated yesterday's game and were the goats. up till the late 80s, I think most NBA stars are overrated
mm, i don't feel like a lot of those players were better than tmac/yao. seriously? eddie johnson? dale ellis? tom chambers? I know they were good in their own right and had their moments, but they couldn't hold a candle to tmac or yao. you could have found much better examples of players to make a case for. These guys just seem like good to great role players/borderline allstars.
I agree with OP. But basketball hall of fame is easy to get into. So they are. No problem. Happy the Rockets have back-to-back hall of fame inductations.
