    Hoodie Gordon is just dyno-mite. OKC and Houston need different things to be effective. Paul and Harden don't have to be synergistic to be effective. CP3 can carry the load when Harden needs a rest and vice versa. OKC on the other hand needs real synergy out of their 3 stars. The issue is, that type of synergy doesn't happen overnight, especially when all three are used to being that primary and only guy. Paul knows how to down shift and create for others, as well as how to put the team first. That isn't something I've seen from anyone on OKC's big three. To say OKC is in a better state right now is just wrong. Do they have greater potential? Sure. I won't doubt that. However, asking a group of three alphas who don't really know how to play next to other guys to play together isn't something that can be quick fixed either.

    Also, don't undervalue coaching. Everyone on the Rockets knows his role, and while things shift and move you know the hierarchy. I think the same could be said of the Warriors, Spurs and Cavs. In OKC, we think Russ is top dog, but will that sit well for 82+ games with Melo and PG? I don't know.

    those are the ones that stay absolutely quite when they make so much noise beforehand. When the rockets are winning...crickets...right when they lose here they come. plenty of posters come to mind immediately

    Melo scored 26 points on 26 shots tonight after scoring 22 points on 20 shots in OKC’s 1st game

    he’s leading the team in shot attempts when he’s the most inefficient one out of the Big 3

    I hope this trend continues because the less shots and opportunities for Russ and PG the easier it will be to beat them

    Melo also only had 3 boards and 2 assists in his 37 minutes to go along with his 26 shots and 0 free throw attempts
