Just curious how many people took a bet on this board?

I know mine is with SamFisher and it's going to be really refreshing to see his nonsense removed from here.

So who took it? I'll include a poll.

State whether you did, with whom, and what position it was.

    TIA

So you bet on who would win the election and the loser would have to leave the forum?

You asked a different question...you said how many Dems will be packing their bags?

What about Independents, or republicans who voted for Obama?

Isn't the thread about who took the bet?

Hey, even though you failed at this thread at least your team won on Saturday night...

    :D

I agreed to a bet somewhere here, recently. Can't see myself packing and moving anytime soon, however. We're going to win, and win or lose, I'll still be living in the capitol of our great state, I'll still be a Texan and a Democrat, and I'll still be the same Rockets fan I've been since they moved to Houston. And so will you, Fatty. Good luck!

Go Rockets, Glory to the State of Texas, and VICTORY on November 4th.

You changed the terms around and wanted me to leave the board period immediately afterwards. With Texas Tech being my issue, I couldn't do that. Sammy's bet was much more reasonable. Loser stays out of D&D for 6 months.

Fatty - as I said before, it will be a shame to lose your uninformed rantings, for your unparalleled combination of ignorance and arrogance serves as a measuring stick for the rest of us.

Somebody has to be at the bottom rung of the evolutionary ladder, my man. You serve a purpose. A purpose.

Who won't miss these misguided nuggets?

My oh my, it will be refreshing to see the liberals have to step away from the keyboard.

I know. After tomorrow night, my status might even need to be changed from "contributing member" to "prophet."

I'm going to wait until AFTER you are self-banned, and then submit a list of Fatty Fat's most ignorant moments in the D&D, so as to not enable you to respond. It will be a celebration of self-assured buffoonery not seen since Sarah Palin last opened her mouth.

According to my calculations, this will have the effect of REALLY getting your goat.

Please tell me there is some sort of electoral college-based odds/line on these bets. No one would bet straight up, did they?

This is McCain's Intrade, and this is even after it was announced that a McCain supporter was artificially inflating his price:

Not where I live! Look at the counties on a political map, where they show them as red or blue. In past elections, in a sea of red, Travis County proudly stands blue. I stand as well!

Do not despair. All is a cycle. Texas WILL be "blue" again.

Other than Fatty, has anyone else taken the bet on the McCain side? Trader is a hilariously coward, i know he has not, but basso? Anyone? I am for sure out for a year if McCain wins.

If anyone wants to add a month for every ten electoral votes over 271, or some similar like that, i am totally in.
