HAKEEM (I CAME) I SAW I CONQUERED And THAT he did, TWICE in 1994 and 1995. T-Shirt and catch phrase is in the process of being trademarked, so you will not find this ANYWHERE to be sold. www.thehakeemshirt.com T-Shirts will be SHIPPED starting MONDAY, GET YOURS NOW!! Dirk NOR Duncan have led their teams to BACK 2 BACK TITLES like the DREAM did as we SAW HAKEEM CONQUER. GET YOURS NOW!!! IN RETRO ROCKETS RED AND CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD!
It is a good idea, but the cost trademarking an idea that will be meant for such a tiny market (just Houston Rocket fans, and possibly only older ones), seems like a risky strategy. Good luck with your sales though.
http://www.thehakeemshirt.com/ shirt design is officially up guys, items will be start shipping next week, SPREAD THE WORD! thanks
I'll take 100. Oh wait nevermind. I thought this was Taco Mat. I've got a Dr. Who marathon coming up.
Seriously. How do you get your pronouns messed up like that especially if you're trademarking it? Better yet, why even trademark it?
B The subject is Hakeem = I CAME. Thought about this for a long time. Talking about the catch phrase itself...not what HE did.
OP got hijacked. Lmao. Honestly OP, a slight variation of "Veni, Vidi, Vici" would have really helped your shirt dude.
On your site, you talk about Hakeem. So obviously you are talking about what Hakeem did as a Rocket, not what the t-shirt wearer did. So Hakeem, He Saw, He Conquered is a 100% more applicable phrase. From your own website... "Lastly, we want to remind those fans from Dallas that Hakeem CAME, SAW, and CONQUERED, twice. Something that Dirk Nowitzki will never do." ...so you can rephrase "...Dallas that Hakeem CAME, Hakeem SAW, and Hakeem CONQUERED, twice." The correct pronoun to replace the subject noun "Hakeem" is to use 'He' not 'I'. Again, the phrase is referring to Hakeem, not the T-shirt wearer.
I agree, I find it odd that you managed to screw up the 15-year old catch phrase before putting it on the rather bland looking shirt. You shouldn't have to work so hard to explain a t-shirt. It should speak for itself. And for that reason.........I'm out. Spoiler
