Nice, now that we have the Spurs out of the way I can breathe easy. I've said it before, and will say it again. Keep Manu and Parker (eh maybe), get rid of everyone else.
LOL, I was saying this to myself multiple times in the 4th quarter. Whenever he got the ball on offense, invariably it turned into a pretty bad offensive possession.
Kerr is so lame. What the hell was he talking about with Manu? Kerr talking about Federer and Manu asking about his family. Pure nonsense for the cameras. Manu was trying to get the hell out of there.
I know your post is tongue in cheek. Here is his season by season 3pt % .273 .368 .436 .429 .415 .418 .332 .379 .363 (.313 this playoffs series) He had four consecutive 41%+ seasons. Then it went south. His career average is still a very good .395.
This is why Pop can't retire just yet. Messina has no idea what to do with rotations. Rudy gay out there? Really? If pop plans on retiring I hope he finds someone that really can take the helm. He might need to call mike b. Back.
Same exact thoughts running through my mind. Manu should've punched him like MJ did. Can't knock Messina yet... he hasn't looked brilliant when Pop hasn't coached this season, but it's not exactly like this is his system and players. More than likely just trying to work with what they got, always have to consider the situation and context. You pretty much have to play Gay though for defense at worst, even though his offense has been nonexistent. Why do you want someone to replace Pop? You a fan of the Spurs? I hope they hire Jason Kidd and tank their franchise.
Glad that's over with. Pau was so useless this year, Parker too, only Manu had his moments. Can Broussard please rub it in Skip's face how he said Manu 6th man of the year will show up and win this series for them?!
