Turkey promised the UEFA much more money (tax-free earnings etc), this wasn't about money. Good to see this ugly dictatorship failing at these EC candidatures again and again.

Yeah, but Turkey has never been an economically stable/ overall stable country, as long as I can remember. With or without Erdogan.

    Wasn't aware of their candidacy.

Turkey failed for the 4th time in a row and did several more, it's becoming a running gag.

Even though the country will benefit big time, I didn't mean it economically. Just happy we've got the tournament and after World Cup 2018 (questionable), Euro 2020 (all over Europe, wtf?), World Cup 2022 (more than questionable) and World Cup 2026 (let's see how that turns out), this is great news for football fans in general, because they will witness a well organised tournament far away from some dictator-shitshow or workers being treated like slaves. European newspapers are all happy as well.

Used to be way more respected in the past, still one of the more trustworthy papers in Germany.

    That's the story...

Sanches starting again, let's hope he continues to shine.

Just love the Kovac signing, one of the best guys you can get for developing and handling youngsters, plus he seems to prefer actual development and taking risks instead of a bland 30pt league lead.

Sheit we should've taken the Boateng deal. Playing like some inexperienced youth guy.

Sucks big time that we lost five points this week because of individual mistakes. Boateng was a disaster today, definitely needs to sit on Tuesday against Ajax.

Still not worried about the Bundesliga, though. Just a matter of time until we have a comfortable lead.

What do y’all think it will take for Morinhonto get the axe? Currently getting manhandled by freakin West Ham...a few days after having lost to that powerhouse, Derby County. All this talent just being completely wasted.

Pretty sure he'll be sacked soon. Seeing how he's pissed off most of his players, cried about the front office and fans, he should've made damn sure to deliver the right results.

No way they'll keep this ******* for much longer.

    Today.
I didn't think he had lost the team earlier in the season but I have zero doubt that he has now.
The gutless excuse for a manager threw out a silly midfield lineup out there. He decided to play a back 3(while slyly blaming it on the media..and others for clamoring for Martial to play...because that's how Mourinho operates) and left his best centerback on the bench...again while playing a midfielder at centerback. HE DOES NOT GIVE A FLYING FIG anymore. He just wants to be sacked and get paid his money.

The only question left is who to replace him as caretaker manager.

Two choices out there right now

but this is the best choice imo
