Wow! This is the ultimate card for Houston Rockets collection. When Tmac and Yao win a championship, this card will draw a premium. very nice investment. Just imagining Hakeem and Mcgrady playing together in their primes gives me goosebumps.
amazing what the scribbling of a pen gets these days back in my day.... they were only worth a nickel.
Smart investors. Chances are very high that yao and Tmac will win a championship in near future. Combine the autos of these two with an auto of Hakeem, a legend, all on the same card with a limited production of just 10, and you have a gold mine.
not only that its a production of 10 but its 1/10. usually the 1/10 or 10/10 carry extra premium (usually 1/xx) on top of that. I dont collects cards anymore but had the production been hand-written instead of a stamp it would have been worth even more. 500 is a good investment on this with mcgrady, yao and dream. there are a lot of yao signatures out on the market, i dont think there as many of mcgrady. dream's signature on cards are even harder since autograph cards have only become very popular in the past 7 years or so. skybox had an autographics series back in 96 which had 2 variations of dream's sig, one in blue and one in black the blue sig was the rarer of the two cards. i only have the black sig one i would have love to bid on this triple auto if i had that much money to spend
LOL...if u click on the bid history...you can see some of the bidders are lakers fan and knicks fan. And that laker fan is kinda stupid. He raised the bid from $350 to $400 then to $450. Why is he trying to outbid himself?
No he is just setting his max bid so the auto bidder goes up to at least 450 before he loses that's all.
I was a card collector since the early 90s...all my cards are worth jack sh$t now. I probably spent more than $6000 on buying cards haha...although I still have a few good cards like a Tmac auto from his 98-99 campaign and the Yao SP authentic rookie year signature.
i was doing a lot of buying and selling of cards up to Lebrons Rookie Year..only thing that is worth selling now a days are rookie cards, limited edition and jersey cards or auto cards... I was lucky enough to pull a Lebron Autographed rookie card out of a pack...sold it the next day for 550 bucks...hindsight i should have kept it...and waited a few years down the line and and seen how good he bcomes and could have been worth so much more in 10 years or so. At the same time though he might be like all those Grant Hill Rookie cards i kept cause they were wroth so much and i thought they would go up....Little did i know i was one injury away from his card being worth jack...
