Bought a new CD burner. Installed it and its software. Usually I program CD lists off Windows Media Player. Yeah, I hate Microsoft too but I have had a lot of success with the program.

Anyway, this Neromix program has turned all of my MP3 files into NeroMix Media files. Total pain in the butt. I deleted Neromix and now I cant open any MP3 files without sideclicking "open with Microsoft Media Player".

How can I change all of my files back to Windows Media Player Files? Or even just a regular MP3 format. Everything I pull down off Kaaza shows up as a Neromix file.

    Any ideas?

    Open "My Computer"
    Click "Tools"
    Choose "Folder Options"
    Select the "File Types" tab
Scroll down to "MP3" in the file types window and click on it
    Click "Change" button
    Click "Browse" button
Find the *.exe file of the software you want to use to play MP3s.

If you have the latest version of the Windows Media Player, you can go into Windows Media Player's menu and change it there. Just go to Tools -> Options and select the "File Types" tab there. Select whatever files you want to associate with Windows Media Player and press Apply/Save. Should work...
