Why not Cal vs UT in Rose Bowl?

    Couldn't they just have match these two team together for the last bowl game?


    I mean let them play it out to see who's better at the Rose Bowl.

    the big-ten champ gets an automatic berth in the rose bowl and michigan was co-champ this year

    Welcome to the BCS

    Michigan won the Big 10 and Pittsburgh won the Big East. Those conferences get automatic BCS bids as the contract is now written (and it will stay that way). That is the only reason either of those teams got a BCS game.
