Ok, I bought the game this morning and about an hour later, I felt like I threw my money away. This game is horrible. One of the reason I bought the game is because of the legends teams (with Hakeem wearing the red and gold jersey). But apparently you cannot trade away any legend players and put them on the regular team. That is a big no no in my book. I wanted to put Old Hakeem on the Rockets And if you play a tourney, again, you cannot use the legends teams. You only get to choose from the regular teams. And the camera angles, NBA live has the Press camera angle, you know, and it looks like you are watching a TV cast, but im my opinion, the PRESS on NBA 2k2 (no matter how hard you adjust the height and zoom) does not look enough like a TV telecast. I'm thinking hard about selling this game already.
Its just a better game PERIOD! Besides what else can a bunch of Sports fanatics do but support their favorite game
What's so much better about it? I heard the graphics and options were nice, but that it was kinda hard to play. Is that true?
Actually, when I made my own team, I added the old Dream and he played the same as the Toronto Hakeem, dunno why, but he just does. The best view for TV view is "TV" view. I use it myself and love it. I like how they zoom in when your doing a post move. IMO, I prefer 2K2 than Live. Live HAS NOT change anything since '95. Its been the same to me and they still do not have Street Mode like 2K2 (but for $49.99 more, from the makers of Live, you can buy NBA Street!). They have been stuck with the one on one mode and 3 point shootout. Plus, any game out there attempt to have the Slam Dunk Contest? I know that Konami tried with In The Zone '99 (with had Glen Rice on the cover in Lakers uni but was still on the Hornets in the game) and that sucked. I remember the days when they had dunk contest on Jordan vs Bird and NBA All Star Challenge. That would be cool if some company would attempt it.
