    It's a simple question. I know it's a tough choice, but I trust everybody to look at the facts and make an informed, unbiased decision

    lol. So sad but true. But all snarking aside, the verdict is still out. If the Rockets get their act together and make the playoffs, they will not have backed in. They earned all those Ws at the beginning of the season.

    If we get in, and again that if is looming larger, and if we snare a couple of games in the first round, this late-season swansong will eventually feel irrelevant. Memory is short.

    Put another way: the Rockets weren't as good as they looked in mid-March. And they're not as bad as they look now.

    I picked Houston Rockets #2, but it was a tough call...With them playing like #2, things became clearer...

    I'm as frustrated with the Rockets as anybody, but Phoenix has them beat here.
