The white basketball player (not Jason Williams) in the Nike freestyle commercial. Who the hell is hey? Why isn't he in the NBA?

I was about to ask that today.

He has some great dribbling skills.

I could duplicate a lot of the stuff in that commercial, but I can't even do a quarter of what he can do.

Unfortunately, it's the non-NBA guys that have the best moves in those commercials.

this is what is wrong with bball today.

gr8 dribbling skills does not make you even a DECENT player.

and 1/2 of what they do in those commercials is 100% illegal.

Who cares? They weren't doing it in the middle of a game. And even if it's illegal, it looks cool.

oh, no doubt. it does look cool.

but i get sick of playing ball with guys who think that it's legal to do in a real game, that's all.

but yea, they are cool tricks for playin' around.

The one guy you are referring to, ZRB, I think won the freestyle dribbling contest that is held annually. I can't be sure of this, but my that is what my stepbrother told me. He definetely had the best moves of the bunch.

P.S. I love the fact that Wallace got 5% of the votes, even though all he did was pass the ball and shove a guy out of the way. [IMG]

Actually one of the Bucks bench players did the cool walk/dribble like KG in the end of the philly/milwaukee game and was called for traveling. I thought that was pretty funny.

That's a pretty mean move, though.

Rafer Alston, aka "Skip to my Lou", has arguably the best handles in the NBA. He doesn't get any burn because of his lack of a solid jumpshot. Though, that supposedly, is dramatically improved. I believe he is a free agent(may be wrong), so hopefully next season, he'll get a chance to show his game with a new team. Don't sleep on Skip.
