    Is the captain appointed by the head coach or through some kind of election? Is this held annually?

    Oh, and I think the players vote on who it should be, maybe the coach to, most hockey teams' captains are voted by the players.

    I think it could be either JimJackson or Juwon Howard. I would give it to Jim Jackson, since this is his 2nd year with the team and knows JVG goals and system.

    It seems most captains are veterans and not necessary the superstars in the teams. But wasn¡¯t T-Mac the captain of Orlando being like what, 24?

    Wasn't JJ one of the Co-captains last year. If he was, then I don't see why he wouldn't at least be a co-captain this year.

    Give it to the vets like JJ and Dekembe. It's not TMAC or Yao's time. Maybe in 2 seasons, but JVG has to build some kind of respect of vets and earning it.

    I feel it should be a person who's been with the team and not a newcomer. I think it should be Jim Jackson. He seem to be leader on the court the past season so he get my vote. Just my 2 cents.

    omg.. i could not stop laughing after i heard that.

    Captain should be J. Jackson, T-mac and Yao havent earned it, Howard is new to the team and the system, Deke.. same as Howard. Ward/Sura could be co-captains, but JJ fully deserves it.
