Where's China stand?

They will stand by and do nothing in this particular episode.

I only hope we can really enlist the Russians, because they will be our greatest ally in the coming fight against Chinese Communism.

PS: My computer has only been attacked twice - once during the plane standoff, and again last night - only when I took a vocal stand against the PRC (and last night the terrorists they support). That's how I know who's doing it.

It is disturbing to know that they will tell us that they will do nothing, and attack our computers while they are doing it. But of course, Sun Tzu's manifesto could have been called The Art of Deception ...

I don't think you're paranoid enough, haven.

 

How do you know your computer was attacked?
What type of attacks?
When, and how far apart did you make your two statements?

 

I am betting on three levels of interest here from other countries.

1. The helpers

These are the actual allies - England, France, Germany, etc - who will fight alongside the US in actual combat.

2. The supporters

These are places like Russia, Eastern Europe, Central & South America who will help diplomatically or simply by allowing us to use their airspace. Russia may even go a step further by allowing us to use some of their southern border with Afghanastan for incursion.

3. The by-standers

These are countries like China and moderate Islamic countries who won't get involved or agree to necessarily support what the US is doing in any tangible way, but they'll just sort of ignore it.

I think of it as like three layers of a circle - the ones in the middle holding hands, the one's watching and the one's on the outside with their backs turned not getting involved.

 

China will stay nuetral through out this. Russia will help the US use some of their intelligence units on Afganistan.

 

China just announced a few days ago that they would help the United States in their fight against terrorism. At least that's a start.

 

Get something that tracks port probes.

Every day I recieve 10-20 probes from people in Russa or Croatia, or parts unknown whose names wont resolve in DNS. Perhaps the reason you're getting 'attacked' is because you have left the proverbial front door of your computer open.

It is a fact that everyone with a 64.x.x.x address gets probed incessantly by hackers looking for ways to get in. Most hacks are wholesale scans trying thousands of computers looking for ways to get in.

Also keep this in mind. If someone was looking to target you specificly based on your anti-China attitude, the people who have the means to locate you easily are the Clutch City BBS admins, as they log your IP every time you post...

Any other attempt to hunt you down would be an big pain in the ass. Therefore the admins should likely be the target of your paranoia.
