    He is retired in Houston. He does some post game with Lisa sometimes. If you want him back in a Rockets uniform, it won't happen. He has burned Rudy T with some of his antics while with and not with the Rockets.

    He is done as a player. From what I heard, there is a very good chance he will be an assistant coach next year on either the staff in Golden State or in Denver based on who gets those jobs. Both Chris Mullen and Clyde Drexler are up for those head coaching spots and both have indicated they would like Elie as an assistant. He wants to coach, but if he doesn't do it next year, he will be back on some of the broadcasts with Lisa Malosky and Mike Newlin when he visits.
