    When will Chris Simms get drafted? I thought his draft stock was going UP.....:confused:

    2 rounds down, who is gonna gamble on Chris Simms?

    Man,

    The guy would have gone a lot higher if he came out after his junior year....it is round 3 and Redding was the first UT player selected.

    Still no one has taken Simms, any predictions?

    Simms has his own issues, but the fact that we didn't have a single 1st or 2nd round pick out of what was said to be the greatest recruiting class in Texas history (and the #1 class in the country) says something about the coaching staff, IMO (or the recruiting analysts).

    Would agree with the coaching staff thing. You can't say that Mack and staff can't pick talent, because everyone was after their players. Is it developing that talent? I think half of that 99 class transferred.

    Oh, and spare the Davis/Mike Williams/Jammer arguments. Those guys are freaks.

    Next year will be better for the Horns, imo.

    Argh. I've said for the last six months or so that the team that drafted Chris Simms would instantly become my third favorite team (behind the Texans and Packers).

    I didn't really think that through since the Bucs are my least favorite team.
