I'm just throwing this question out.. one of my friends died in a car accident this past Tuesday night.. she was only 18.. 2 years ago my cousin died in a boating accident.. it doesn't get any easier.

But, I've been fortunate to live a rather good life. Death of my cousin was probably one of my hardest setbacks.. and now my friend died, but it wasn't close friends. Ya, I feel awful, I've thought about her this whole week, but its not eating at me like my cousin's death did.

What have you had to go through? Death, or anything else..

First I would say death of the family. I had an uncle pass away because of a scuba diving accident 12 years ago, and lost my grandmother's sister to cancer last year, who I was VERY close too. Its hard to get over it, but it does take alot of time.

Second, I would say breaking up with a significant other or losing a close friend (ex. moving, acting different from when first met, etc..). It took me almost a year to get over a break up from last year.
