Whats the deal with Yao?

    I haven't heard much about Yao lately. Have there been progressions in his contract talk? WHen is he coming over??

    No news is good news, as the old saying goes. Pretty much everything has been worked out. I don't know the exact date Yao will come over, but it should be soon with the World Games coming up. (China plays US Aug 31, I think.) I think everything will be officially worked out soon.

    Yao Ming will arrive at USA at August 17th. They will stay at Denver.
