I've never started a 'What's in your.....' thread before, so I decided it was time. So, what's in your DVD Player??
For me, I'm reliving the days of Jurassic Park. It's still one of my favorite movies, and I love all the extra stuff (making of, special effects, etc...). Jurassic Park/Lost World DVD Set is awesome. I also pre ordered the Lord of the Rings DVD today (August 6 release).

Right now, the Criterion edition of Rashomon. Although I'm feeling a bit Banzai at the moment, so I'll probably slide that in before the day is through. :)

Was watching Remember The Titans, since I haven't actually seen that before. And right before that (it's summer, I was bored, so I watch movies) was The Rock (the most kickedy-assedy-movie ever)

Donnie Darko! What a completely overlooked movie this was. It got some pub, but not near enough. One of the best movies released last year. It's pretty original as far as science-fiction-dark-comedy-teen-dramas go.

Oh yes. I loved it too. But in my opinion Brazil is his best movie, and for that matter, also the best movie ever made.

Just a heads up. This may not matter to you, but it's something that really pisses me off. They're releasing a 4-disc lord of the rings set in November, that will contain an extended version of the movie by adding another 30 minutes of extra footage, as well as a lot more advanced features. I'm sure it will be a little more pricey, but I hate it when I buy a DVD for a movie when it first comes out, and then they come out with the SUPER-DVD just a couple of months later. There should be stickers put on those original DVDs saying, a "Special Edition of this DVD is being planned for release," but then I guess they wouldn't be ripping us off. I've been hesitant in getting the Black Hawk Down DVD, because I have a feeling they're going to release a special edition. I actually started a thread about this a while back, but doesn't this piss anyone else off?

Yes DCKid, I hate that. They're about to release another Pulp Fiction DVD. They did the same with Boogie Nights, but I didn't get a player until the 2nd edition was already out.

In my player:

Waiting for Guffman

I have a two disc dvd player.

I think there is a blue's clues dvd for my son and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation - my wife loves this movie. :)

I am about to buy a new dvd player because my old one won't read cd-r or cd-rw, I got it like 3 yrs ago.

Sitting on top of my dvd player - Rush Hour 2, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and a couple of Elmo DVD's.

Awesome movie
