    Vin Baker to replace Boozer

Sounds like the Cavs need big men even more than us.

Baker visits Cavaliers today about job opening

The Cavaliers filled a need on Tuesday when they acquired point guard Eric Snow in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Cavs hope a visit today by forward Vin Baker will mean a more glaring void will be filled.

According to a league source, Baker, an unrestricted free agent, will arrive in Cleveland today to discuss the possibility of joining the Cavs. If Baker signs with the Cavs, he would fill the vacant starting power-forward position left open when Carlos Boozer signed a free-agent deal with the Utah Jazz last week

Vin Baker being in a losing situation like Cleveland is a receipe for disaster for him. This is a guy with talents but someone that has to be watched and has to be in a winning good atmosphere for him to succeed. I dont see Cleveland as a good atmosphere for him.

Clearly Cleveland is desperate if they are looking at Baker. Too bad the Rockets can't trade them Taylor for some players. True Taylor's contract isnt great but his production will be much better than Bakers. If the Cavs were willing to take on Snow's huge contract to get better, why not Taylor's?
