    Apparently they wanted to go to a birth center, not a hospital, which is why they were driving for so long.

    I couldn't help but be annoyed by the father though. A little too calm, IMO. Maybe that's just how they do things in their relationship, but if I'm not going 70 mph, I'm pulling over.

    This actually happened to a friend of mind almost 20 years ago. They lived in
    Clear Lake and for some reason had to go to UTMB in Galveston. He told us
    she gave birth in the car somewhere over the causeway.

    I'm kinda surprised they showed this on the local news. The dude films it and then gives her a high five or something.

    It's probably good that he's calm and can talk her through it, though the whole scenario seems terrifying and risky enough that I kind of wish he wasn't filming and driving at the same time.
