    I've always loved how Vernon moves Starks out of the way so he can celebrate.

    You know, it's amazing the confidence that team showed, reacting as if the game was over, up 8 with just under 2 minutes to go. It feels like our current team can never be up by enough, no matter how much time is left :eek:

    Well to be fair the defense was great in those days. The league still allowed hand checking and the concept of flopping hadn't been elevated to an art form yet. Deadly scorers like Cp3 probably wouldn't be succesful, unless they can withstand hit after hit like AI does. Scoring buckets was much harder before, so I guess climbing up from an 8 pt lead in just under 2 mins was harder to do then than now.

    Who is Vernin Maxwill ? Is that still when the Rockets were from California or Oregon -- whatever west coast hippy state they came from originally ?

    they had the option to go to TV when the Rockets signed the TV contracts but declined.

    yeah, you knew when he let it go that it was going in. I love that team chemistry, everybody come out to celebrate. that's what makes a championship team, everyone has to believe in each other.
