im wondering about this because i hear all these trade rumors about jermaine oneil being traded for l ike the 5th overall pick. this confuses me because i have seen oneil do one thing his entire nba career.....sit his ass on the bench . Ive seen him play too. its sick. Hes like Ed obannon except for ed actually went to college. So my question is why would u give up such a high pick for such a scrub like oneil. I know what most of you guys are going to say. He hasnt got a chance to play yet. He has a lot of potnetial. But thats b.s. He had potential coming out of higschool. now that hes been here for like 3 or 4 years he is just a scrub. id like to hear your opinions without bashing my opinions too much.

The reason that the Magic might take that offer is that they cant afford to pay 2 big name free agents, plus their three lottery picks.

Starting at shortstop, for the Houston Astros, Nomar Garciaparra.

O'Neal hasn't gotten a chance to play. That's not bs. He's been behind Sabonis, Wallace, and Grant. Coming straight out of high school, did you expect him to play over them? He has a lot of potential. That's why Portland re-signed him last year. They didn't want to loose him, because they knew he would be a tradeable asset. If he was just a scrub, like you say, why would they have re-signed him? They could have just let him go and been done with it.
